What an incredible feeling to hear the support after we lost on Tuesday night! The fan base at this football club deserves rewarding with Step 4 football and more. Unfortunately we have fallen short of that goal, but what we have given the club, its supporters and youth section is a team of hard working young men who have embarked on the beginning of a fantastic journey here, with progress in year one beyond imagination!

“Dust yourselves down, credit to the club and the management team, delight to work with, one defeat in 90 minutes over twenty six games, proud to call them our team" were all part of the manager’s debrief after the game.

We now take time to reflect on what has been immense as a season, and a massive thank you for all the support we have received since being at this great club. Football brings together so many people from all walks of life and produces moments to cherish forever, creates imagination and inspiration amongst others, dreaming of days like Wembley since young boys and girls; this is what’s been created this year and now we have to build on that momentum.

Over the next few days, rest assured, we will be resting, recovering and taking your club and team to the national stadium prepped and ready to do battle for you and ourselves to get that piece of silverware we all want so badly .

During the next week or so, we will also remember all the moments this season, good and bad, that have built and will continue to build the foundations of success for this team. In ten months, the progress has been nothing short of momentous and there’s so much more to come from this young squad.

Enjoy your bank holiday weekend and we will see you all on Wembley Way, walking into the national stadium to watch your team!! WOW, just imagine that...
