The last few weeks have seen more fantastic tournament success for Whitstable Town's youth teams, with several sides producing outstanding performances and bringing home silverware.

U12 Girls Win Gold

Congratulations to our U12 Girls, who were crowned Gold Final champions at the Tonbridge Angels Tournament. After overcoming some very strong opposition throughout the day, the final went all the way to penalties, where the girls kept their composure to secure a well-deserved victory.

U12 Whites Claim Plate Trophy

Our U12 Whites enjoyed an excellent tournament at Ramsgate, lifting the Plate Trophy after a series of determined performances.

Drawn in a difficult group featuring two Division One teams, they twice earned impressive 0-0 draws against Ramsgate Reds, split their results against Canterbury Youth and faced a strong Baypoint side.

The knockout rounds showcased the team's character. A hard-fought quarter-final win was followed by a thrilling semi-final comeback, recovering from both 1-0 and 2-1 down to progress.

In the final they faced Canterbury Eagles and were the better side for much of the game. With the match eventually going to penalties, the Whites held their nerve to lift the Plate.

U10 & U11 Girls Reds Crowned Champions

The U10 & U11 Girls Reds added two more trophy to the club's collection by winning the Herne Bay Youth Tournament.

Both teams impressed throughout the day with an outstanding defensive display, with the U10 Girls Reds just conceding one goal across the entire tournament before holding their nerve to win their final on penalties.

Young Whites Impress at Faversham

Our youngest White teams also enjoyed a memorable tournament at Faversham Town.

The U7 Whites were outstanding throughout the group stages, winning all three matches before reaching the final. Despite having already beaten Baypoint earlier in the day, they were narrowly beaten in the showpiece match to finish as deserved runners-up.

The U8 Whites battled through a tough group featuring both eventual finalists to finish third before producing two excellent performances in the Plate competition to lift the trophy.

Congratulations to every player, coach and volunteer involved over the past few weeks. These results are a testament to the hard work, commitment and development taking place across our youth section, and it's fantastic to see so many teams representing Whitstable Town with such pride.
