Whitstable Town FC is thrilled to confirm that goalkeeper Dan Colmer has committed to the club for the 2025/26 season. A towering presence at 6ft 5in, Colmer was instrumental in our historic FA Vase triumph and league playoff push last season.
Colmer's standout performances included saving three penalties in the FA Vase fourth-round shootout against Walsham Le Willows, and maintaining composure under pressure throughout the competition. His contributions were pivotal in our 2-1 extra-time victory over AFC Whyteleafe at Wembley Stadium, securing the club's first-ever FA Vase title .
Off the pitch, Dan balances his football career by running a family mobile coffee business alongside his mum, truly embodying the close-knit, family spirit at the heart of our club. His dedication both on and off the field perfectly reflects what Whitstable Town stands for.
Manager Jamie Coyle expressed his enthusiasm: "Dan's commitment and performances last season were exceptional. Having him back is a significant boost as we aim for continued success."
Welcome back, Dan. Here's to another season of excellence between the posts!
