Emirates FA Cup First Round Qualifying
Weekend of Saturday 5 September 2026
Rectory Meadow
Whitstable Town will travel to Hanworth Villa in the First Round Qualifying of the Emirates FA Cup following Monday afternoon’s draw.
The Oystermen’s reward for an impressive start to this season’s competition is a trip to Rectory Meadow to face Hanworth Villa, with the tie due to be played over the weekend of Saturday 5 September.
Town have enjoyed a hugely encouraging FA Cup campaign so far, scoring eight goals across their opening two rounds.
Our journey began at the YMS Stadium with a 3-1 victory over Roffey in the Extra Preliminary Round, before another excellent home performance saw Lee Martin’s side sweep aside Newhaven 5-0 on Saturday.
Robbie Rees and Jack Nelson both struck twice in the victory over Newhaven as the Oystermen booked their place in the First Round Qualifying in emphatic fashion.
The next round will provide another step up in the challenge, with Hanworth Villa competing at Step 3 for the first time in their history this season after winning promotion through the Isthmian League South Central play-offs in 2025/26.
The Villains defeated Moneyfields 5-1 in their play-off semi-final before a 2-0 victory away at Westfield secured promotion and a place in the Southern League Premier Division South.
Hanworth have made a positive start to life at their new level and recorded a 4-1 home victory over Evesham United at Rectory Meadow on Saturday.
It promises to be a tough test for the Oystermen, but after two convincing victories and eight goals already in this season’s competition, Town will make the trip to Middlesex looking to continue their FA Cup adventure.
Full fixture details, including confirmation of the date, kick-off time and supporter information, will be announced once finalised.
