Whitstable Town Football Club are delighted to confirm that Manager Jamie Coyle, Assistant Manager Matt Longhurst, and the current management team will remain in charge for the 2025/26 season, continuing their exciting journey at The Primcura Healthcare Stadium.
Following a season of strong performances both on and off the pitch, the club is proud to reaffirm its commitment to stability, ambition, and continued progress under the leadership of Coyle and Longhurst.
Speaking on the announcement, Manager Jamie Coyle said:
“I’m delighted to continue our project next season with the current management team. It’s only the start of the journey here at this fantastic football club. Our aim was to get us out of this league, and we are all hungrier than ever to bring more success to Whitstable Town FC.
We’ve built a really talented group that mirrors the management team’s ethos of being together and showing a desire to work hard for each other. We’re delighted that the majority of the current squad want to stay on the journey with us, and we’re already excited for what the future holds.”
Assistant Manager Matt Longhurst echoed the sentiment:
“I’m delighted to work with Jamie again next season and the staff. We’ve built a great group of lads, but we came here to get this club out of the league—and that has to be the aim next season.
It’s been a great season on and off the pitch, but now we have to push on and continue the progress we’ve made.”
Club Chairman Steve Clayton added:
“I’m delighted we can confirm Jamie and Matt will be with us next season. The success they have brought to the club has been phenomenal, and the journey continues. Both Jamie and Matt are an absolute pleasure to work with. Their commitment and work ethic are second to none, and I look forward to next season to see what they can deliver for the club.”
Whitstable Town Football Club would like to thank all supporters for their unwavering backing throughout the season and looks forward to building on recent momentum as the club sets its sights firmly on promotion in the upcoming campaign.
