Since Marcel Nimani and Craig Coles joined as manager and assistant manager last season, there have been several other appointments, including a couple of recent changes to the first team management and coaching team, so for information here are some details of the current members.

The latest two additions are Tom Holmes and Dan Eason and Marcel had this to say on their appointments:

Tom Holmes
“Towards the end of last season, we added Tom Holmes into the ranks and I must say that his addition to our set up has been sensational. He has really grown into the role and has become a key member of our management team. He is a great coach and a great colleague.”

Dan Eason
“I am delighted to add Dan Eason to the management team, following the departure of Charlie Himbury at the end of last season. Dan made it clear that he is looking to pursue coaching and management in the future and given Dan’s experience in non-league football, it was a very easy decision to get him in with us. Dan also continues in his role as our No1 first team goalkeeper.”

Dan is now one of the club’s longest serving players with 327 appearances, including one as an outfield player in a game at Lordswood in which he scored his only goal for Whitstable.

Ben Maci
One member of the team who joined the club last season with Marcel and Craig and plays an important role, but may be less well known is Ben Maci. This is what Marcel said about Ben:
“Ben has been a pivotal figure behind the scenes. His role as Sport Scientist is to provide us with statistical analysis both for ‘team’ and individual ‘player’ data. Ben is a former student of mine who finished secondary school and went to Brighton University where he completed a degree in Sport Science disciplines, specialising in coaching. Ben is a very passionate and professional individual and has a great eye for the game. To us he is known as the ‘Gary Neville’ of the group with great detailed Pre-During-Post analysis.

Ethan Clayton
Ethan works closely with the management team and is primarily responsible for providing updates on social media to keep everyone informed, both during and after matches.

Ada Hubbard
Ada re-joined Whitstable a few years ago when Lloyd Blackman was the manager and has remained in his role managing the kit and also handling match day administration. Locally based, Ada continues to be a popular and valued member of the staff at the football club.
