First Team Squad Update

First Team manager Richard Styles and assistant Dan Morrin are delighted to announce a number of new signings and retained players.

New Signings:

We are delighted to sign Richard Atkins and bring him to the club, Rich is an experienced striker who has scored goals at this level and above for many years with Folkestone Invicta, most recently with Sheppey United & Beckenham Town. Rich brings experience and quality to the squad and will play an important role.

I am really pleased to welcome Joe Nelder to the club. Joe is a local, experienced player who has also played at this level and above for many years. He is a natural leader and has bags of ability and quality in a number of positions and he is one that we are looking forward to getting going this season.

Delighted to sign another top talent and hot prospect, Billy Robbins. Billy is currently at the Tonbridge Angels academy and spent some of last season at Bearsted. A central midfielder with bags of ability and another youngster who will get better and better.

We are pleased to announce Harry O’Donnell has signed for the club. This is a great coup as Harry is still only 18. A product of the Dover Academy, he also had a short spell with Canterbury last season. Harry has excelled in pre-season whilst on trial and has earned himself a place in the First Team squad for his great efforts.

Joe Jarvis has signed for the club, which is another great coup as he is still very young. Jarvo has impressed during pre-season to earn his place in the squad for the season. Having spent last season at Punjab United, he knows the level well and has added experience.

Retained Players:

We are both really delighted to retain Cameron Chamberlain, a player we knew about before we came to the club and a hot prospect. Cameron has worked very well with the group during pre-season and has performed well in the friendlies also and he will only get better and better.

We are pleased to have retained Alfie Prior, a product of the U18's squad last season. Alfie has done very well to come back from a very bad injury last year, returning to fitness and adding another element to the playing squad. Alfie is very mature in the way he plays and has been very popular in and around the dressing room with players and staff and it’s great to have him on board.
