Following our 4-1 win at Harpenden Town, watched by a crowd of 743 including a large number of travelling Oysters, the draw for the 2025-26 Isuzu FA Vase Fifth Round will take place on Monday (19th January) around 3.15pm and will be broadcast on talkSPORT2.
The Fifth Round draw will probably be split into two zones, broadly north and south, before the competition becomes national for the following rounds.
The teams still in the competition following the Fourth Round on Saturday from the two zones including the south and west are:
Windsor & Eton or Fisher
Lymore Gardens
Punjab United
Cockfosters
Great Yarmouth Town or Haywards Heath Town
Whitstable Town
Hallen
AFC Stoneham
Downton
The teams that have made it to the last 16 are from the two zones covering the midlands and north are:
Droylsden
Winsford United
North Shields
West Didsbury & Chorlton
Coventry United
Bilston Town
Gornal Athletic
There are an odd number of teams in each section, nine and seven, so an adjustment between zones is necessary to balance the groups. Hallen have now been moved to join those from the midlands and north for the draw.
Whitstable’s next opponents will therefore be from the southern section listed above, but not Bristol based Hallen.
We will find out on Monday afternoon, with the ties to be played during the first weekend in February.
