At the end of a memorable season that ended with the great Isuzu FA Vase win at Wembley, Whitstable Town Football Club celebrated with its supporters and the town on Saturday. An open top bus made its way from the harbour to the football ground, through unbelievably large crowds. We would like to thank everyone who helped to make this significant event possible at short notice.
Once inside the Primcura Healthcare Stadium, over 1,250 people gathered for the presentation of the first team end of season awards. There was also an opportunity for supporters to meet the players, have their photo taken with the FA Vase, visit the club shop or just enjoy the celebrations.
The presentation of the awards took place on the pitch and we were delighted to be joined by our MP Rosie Duffield and the recently elected Lord Mayor of Canterbury Keji Moses, who both said a few words prior to the trophies being handed out.
Here is a list of the awards.
