Whitstable Town, defending the trophy that they won at Wembley in May, are one of three teams still standing from the strong Southern Counties East Football League Premier Division, with the other two, Punjab United and Fisher, meeting each other.

Whitstable Town v Cockfosters
These two teams are both in good form.
Whitstable are unbeaten in 16 games, winning 14 of them, and are currently 11 points clear at the top of their league. They also reached the semi-finals of the Kent Senior Trophy last week, beating Fisher 5-1. Their last defeat in the FA Vase was against Lingfield in September 2023, since when they won though ten rounds last season to win the competition and this season, having entered at a later stage, have won three games to reach this round.

Cockfosters are also enjoying a good season and are handily placed in the Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division. They are currently third, just three points behind leaders Winslow United and are unbeaten in league matches since the end of November. They have already progressed further in the FA Vase than ever before. Harpenden Town, who were beaten 4-1 by Whitstable in the previous round, are in the same division as Cockfosters, but are currently sitting in 10th place.
