Whitstable continue their defence of the Isuzu FA Vase on Saturday when they travel to play Harpenden Town in the Fourth Round.
Harpenden, who will be new opponents for the Oystermen, are currently in tenth place in the Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division. They have reached this round for the first time in their history, although they came close last season before losing 7-6 on penalties to Dereham Town in the Third Round. That earned them an exemption until the First Round this time around.
Whitstable's historic achievements last season meant that they only entered in the Second Round this time. This will actually be only the third time that Whitstable have reached the Fourth Round (last 32). They reached the Fifth Round in 1996-97 before losing to eventual runners-up North Ferriby United, and of course went all the way to lift the trophy at Wembley in 2024-25.
