Whitstable have signed striker Harvey Smith on dual registration from Margate and he is available to join up with our squad for this weekend’s game.
Manager Marcel Nimani had this to say about his latest signing:
“Delighted to bring Harvey onboard from Margate and a huge thank you to our neighbours for their smooth co-operation in a dual registration agreement.
Harvey caught my eye a few seasons back, playing for Corinthian at Step 4. He then went on to produce impressive, impactful performances at Step 3 and I have kept an eye on his progress ever since.
I tried to sign Harvey last season and now with the departure of Dean Grant, this was the perfect time for both parties.
Harvey will add another dimension to our attacking options in the way that he plays and being different to Steadman, the two will allow us to be more versatile in our play, which is a crucial factor for the long season ahead.
Being a young, talented player, Harvey fits many characteristics of the project that we are aiming to build here and collectively as a management team, we are looking forward to working with Harvey.”
Welcome to Whitstable, Harvey.
