WHITSTABLE TOWN SIGN EXPERIENCED WINGER KENNY AILERU

Whitstable Town Football Club are delighted to confirm the signing of exciting wide player Kenny Aileru, subject to league approval.

The 27-year-old joins the Oystermen bringing an excellent blend of pace, experience and attacking quality, having competed consistently at Step 2 and Step 3 level throughout his career.

Comfortable on either flank but most naturally operating from the right, Aileru is a direct, dynamic winger who loves to take defenders on in one-versus-one situations. Blessed with explosive acceleration and excellent technical ability, he possesses the creativity to unlock defences while also carrying a real goal threat.

Having represented clubs including Aveley, Hashtag United and Cray Valley Paper Mills, Kenny has built a reputation as an exciting attacking player capable of changing games with his pace, movement and quality in the final third. He arrives at Whitstable with valuable experience of competing at a high level in non-league football and will add further strength and depth to Lee Martin’s attacking options.

First Team Manager Lee Martin said:
“We’re really pleased to bring Kenny into the squad. He gives us something different in the wide areas with his pace and ability to beat people.

As a coaching staff we’re always looking to improve competition for places, and Kenny certainly does that. He has the experience of playing at a very good level and we’re looking forward to seeing him make an impact.”

Speaking after completing the move, Kenny Aileru said:
“I’m delighted to be joining Whitstable Town. After speaking with the management team it was clear how ambitious the club is and the direction they’re trying to take.

I’m excited to get started, meet the lads and hopefully play my part in helping the club enjoy a successful season. I can’t wait to get out in front of the supporters.”

Everyone at Whitstable Town would like to welcome Kenny to the Belmont and wishes him every success in an Oystermen shirt.
