Whitstable travel to play SCEFL First Division opponents Rochester United tonight (Tuesday 12th July). The game kicks off at 7.45pm at Rede Court Road, Strood, ME2 3TU.
Preparations for the new season continued on Saturday with the first friendly on the 3G training pitch at Kings Hill. Over twenty players were used on a very warm afternoon. The Kent County Football League Premier Division hosts scored a goal in each half to earn a 2-1 win. Odubonojo touched in a cross in the 4th minute to give Kings Hill an early lead. Freeman Rogers equalised in the 30th minute, heading in a corner. A different Whitstable line up started the second half and a defensive mistake allowed Aston to net the winner from close range in the 58th minute.
