Engine. Experience. Elevation. Dalton’s not going anywhere.

Whitstable Town Football Club is delighted to confirm that Mikey Dalton has been retained for the 2025/26 season!

Since arriving in October 2023, Mikey has become a vital presence in the heart of our midfield. With a wealth of experience from spells at Ashford United, Sevenoaks Town, Erith & Belvedere, Chatham Town and Phoenix Sports, he brought immediate quality and leadership to the squad.

In 2024/25, he made 41 appearances across all competitions, contributing one goal and three assists. His goal in the FA Vase fifth round against Fleet Town proved pivotal in our unforgettable run to lifting the trophy.

But stats only tell part of the story. Mikey’s influence goes far beyond numbers. You’d think he was 6 foot 4 the way he wins headers, his aerial dominance is a real asset in both boxes and often sets the tone in tightly contested matches.

Composed on the ball, relentless in the challenge, and with an engine that doesn’t quit, Mikey epitomises what it means to wear the Whitstable shirt. His consistency, character and big-game temperament make him a player every manager wants in their side.

We’re thrilled to have Mikey continue with the club as we gear up for another exciting campaign. With him in the middle, we know we’ve got someone who will fight for every ball.

Up the Oystermen!
