The first Whitstable Town Remembrance Cup took place on Sunday 17th May 2026 at The Belmont Stadium, bringing together players, supporters, families, and friends for a special day in memory of those connected to Whitstable Town F.C. and the local community.
In a close game, England Over 60s narrowly beat Whitstable Town Over 60s after a competitive and enjoyable match played in good spirit.
The day also helped raise money for the nominated charities in memory of:
• Matthew Milne — Air Ambulance
• Alanna Grant — Pilgrims Hospice
• Wally Brown — The Lord Whiskey Sanctuary Fund
• Henry Duley — CALM
• Tim Sells — British Heart Foundation
Alongside the match, there was entertainment for families throughout the day, including a bouncy castle, ice cream van, and live music from Gary Emmanuel in the clubhouse after the game.
Overall, the inaugural Remembrance Cup was a meaningful occasion and a good way for the club and community to come together, remember loved ones, and support important causes.
