Having not played a full match for four weeks coming up against a very in form Canterbury was always going to be tough..
From the outset Canterbury dominated possession and the majority of the game was played in the Whitstable half.
Whitstable did create a few chances with Louie Valente and Mikhail Andreev probably having the best opportunities for the home side.
Canterbury went into half time with a 0-2 lead.
The second half was very much the same and Canterbury again scored 2 without reply.
The game finished 0-4 and could have been more if goal keeper Joe Allen hasn’t pulled off some superb saves..
Head’s never went down and I’m sure we’ll put up a better fight when we play Canterbury again in two weeks time..
Retaining possession will be very much the focus in training this week.!!
