WTFC U9s v Ramsgate

We had a full ten player squad for our away game against Ramsgate. The boys had been great in mid week training and were all set for another tough match.

We started with Louis in goal, Kasper and Max P in defence Alfie left, Otis right and Daylee up front. Max B was captain for the day in centre midfield.

Fin, Flynn and Harry all came on and played their part in the match.

The team showed great effort and enthusiasm from the start, having the better of the early exchanges. A bit more luck and we could have gone ahead.

As the game wore on tiredness crept in and despite battling to the end and using the full squad we just came up short.

Every game is tough in this league and no team is rolling us over, but small margins are making the difference.

The boys continue to play with great spirit and a positive attitude. Well done all.

In other news, some lovely salted caramel macaroons were enjoyed post match but the team supporters have been rocked by reports that the real chef behind the baking, is not Hannah but in fact...
