A lovely sunny November afternoon saw us travel down to Folkestone to play Dynamo Colts. Both teams had chances in a fairly scrappy first half. Whitstable town tried to play passing football but struggled slightly at the start. A couple of counter attacks by the hosts came to nothing.
One minute before half time Whitstable broke the deadlock, Louis Jenner curling an accurate through ball to Brandon Hosking on the half way line which he cooly finished at the near post.
After halftime time the home team enjoyed a good spell but two fine one on one saves by keeper Joseph Allen kept them at bay.
A through ball by Harry Crockford on the 40th minute put Max Morris through on goal. He took his shot early from outside the box and gave the keeper no chance, putting it in the top corner.
After a foul on Zack Seery in the box, Brandon Hosking stepped up to take a 45th minute penalty. Putting it in the top right corner gave the keeper no chance.
A well worked corner by Harry Crockford and Oli Shaw gave Zack Seery a good close range chance in the 58th minute which he slotted home well.
