Today for various reasons we struggled for numbers and had to play with only 8.

From very early on it was obvious we were going to be under pressure for long periods of the game.

We managed to keep Canterbury at bay for the first half and even created a few chance to hit them on the counter attack with Max Morris a willing runner time and time again.

Canterbury broke the deadlock 13 minutes into the second half but we certainly never made it easy for them throughout.

Once again in the second half we had chances to hit on the break but it wasn’t to be.

Although the result didn’t go our way this afternoon the character and never give up attitude we showed through the entire game is the overwhelming positive to take from the game.
