The Visitors: Chichester City
Chichester City, from West Sussex, are well known as one of the Isthmian League’s most competitive sides and bring real FA Cup pedigree to this tie. Founded in 1873, Chi are one of the oldest clubs in the south and have built a reputation for resilience and cup spirit.
Their most famous moment came in the 2019/20 season when they reached the FA Cup Second Round Proper, becoming the first Sussex club in over 20 years to do so. Along the way, they captured national headlines with a memorable 2–1 win at Bowers & Pitsea and a trip to League One side Tranmere Rovers.
Recent meetings between Whitstable and Chichester have been closely contested, with Chi’s mix of attacking flair and defensive discipline making them a tough opponent. They’ll arrive at The Primcura Healthcare Stadium with confidence, looking to extend their FA Cup adventure but they face a Whitstable side buoyed by last season’s FA Vase triumph and eager to make their own cup memories.
This tie promises to be a battle of ambition, belief, and cup magic the kind of fixture that makes the FA Cup so special.

It’s knockout football. It’s the FA Cup. And it’s happening right here in Whitstable.
