Whitstable Town make the trip to Sevenoaks on Saturday afternoon as the Oystermen look to continue their outstanding run of form and make it ten consecutive wins.
Lee Martin's side head into the fixture full of confidence after Tuesday night's impressive 4-2 victory away at Horley Town, another result that extended the winning streak and kept the momentum firmly with Whitstable.
There is also a familiar face in the opposite dugout, with former Whitstable manager Marcel Nimani now in charge at Sevenoaks Town, alongside several players who have previously represented the Oysters.
The Oystermen have been in excellent form, and Tuesday's trip to Horley provided another test of their ability to get results on the road.
A 4-2 victory ensured the winning run continued, with Whitstable once again showing their attacking quality and determination to come away with all three points.
The challenge now is to carry that confidence into Saturday and maintain the standards that have brought such an impressive run of results.
With the season progressing, the Oystermen will be keen to keep pushing forward and make it ten wins in a row.
Saturday will see a reunion with former Whitstable Town manager Marcel Nimani, who is now in charge of Sevenoaks Town.
Marcel arrived at the Belmont in October 2022 and spent almost two seasons in charge before leaving the club in April 2024. He was subsequently appointed manager of Sevenoaks Town in June 2024.
There will also be some familiar names in the Sevenoaks squad, with James Jeffrey, Jordan Perrin and Nathan Jeche all having previously worn Whitstable colours.
Nathan will be particularly fondly remembered by Oysters supporters, having been part of the squad that enjoyed the unforgettable FA Vase campaign, culminating in a trip to Wembley and victory in the competition.
It adds another interesting dimension to Saturday's meeting, with plenty of familiar faces on the opposing side.
Sevenoaks Town were established in 1883 and have a long history within local football.
The club play their home matches at The Bourne Stadium, based at Greatness Park, where they continue to compete in the Isthmian League South East Division.
Sevenoaks head into Saturday's fixture looking to respond after a difficult evening on Tuesday, when they suffered a 5-0 defeat away to our neighbours Herne Bay.
They will be keen to put that result behind them in front of their home supporters, meaning Whitstable can expect a side determined to bounce back.
With confidence high and the results continuing to come, Whitstable will travel to Sevenoaks determined to keep their momentum going.
The Oystermen will need to be focused from the first whistle and produce the same energy, organisation and attacking intent that have helped deliver eight consecutive victories.
The players will once again appreciate the backing of the travelling Oysters supporters, and we hope to see plenty making the journey to get behind the team.
Another strong performance and three more points would make it a memorable afternoon for the Oystermen.
