Whitstable Town have added experienced striker Luke Medley to their squad as the start of the season approaches. Since leaving the youth set up at Tottenham, the 31 year old has played for numerous clubs including Bradford City, Barnet, Woking, Mansfield Town, Walton Casuals, Chatham Town, Cray Wanderers and most recently Lordswood, where he scored 20 goals last season before football was halted. He previously had a spell as manager of Greenwich Borough in 2018 and is a qualified coach who will also support the management team at Whitstable.

Manager Lloyd Blackman commented: “I’m delighted to sign Luke Medley who is someone that knows this level very well and will be a great addition to the squad. He is a big, strong centre forward who compliments the squad ahead of the new season. Medz will be also be a great help to our younger players with his previous managerial experience and I have invited him into a coaching position.
