On a surprisingly mild afternoon, Whitstable U10's lined up to face Barham FC.
Straight from the whistle, Whitstable went on the attack, with Ted sending a long ball towards the opposition goal and Finn, who was there to send the ball into the back of the net.
Whitstable continued with some excellent attacking play, with a barrage of shots and excellent crosses from Will, Ted and Finn.
Barham fought back strongly, but strong defending from Eli and Joseph, and steady goalkeeping from Noah, meant Barham were unable to find their target.
Back on the offence, Josh, Leon, Nathan and Finn worked well together, creating many opportunities and converting some of them into goals.
Following half time, Barham fought back with renewed energy, creating several chances and testing the Whitstable defence. Noah's keeper skills were called upon several times making some impressive saves to continue to frustrate the Barham forwards.
Whitstable dug deep and turned the play to the opposition end, with further attacks from Leon, Nathan and Joseph.
Another great game for the Whitstable Under 10's who are proving themselves a force to be reckoned with.
