After an encouraging friendly against a welcoming Monkton team last week, the revamped U11A team opened their 2019-20 league season against a strong Canterbury Eagles side. New to 9 a side and with a number of personnel changes since last season the Whitstable Town coach and spectators weren't sure what to expect. What they were to see was a great team performance, some fantastic passing football across the team, excellent individual skills on show and a pleasing start to the season in this evenly contested game.

There were goals from Ollie, Joe and George (in his first game for the team), but the whole squad contributed with each and every player giving 100% on this very hot Sunday afternoon. Player of the match was awarded to Luca for his dogged defending.

Team members Thomas, Rhys, Joshua, Joe, Ollie, Archie and Luca are very pleased to welcome Charlie, Bradley, Jasper, Zac and George to their line-up.

The u11A team look forward to welcoming Herne Bay Wanderers to Radfall next week.

Hi all, our first league game of the season is at home to Canterbury Eagles. I've said meet time is 1.30pm but I would appreciate some help to get the goals out, set up the respect line etc, so I will be there earlier to do this (1pm). I believe we have a full squad for this game including George, our new signing!
