What's to be said? Our first point of the season came at home to Woodchurch, who no doubt travelled to the Abbey School expecting a comfortable win against us after we fell to a heavy defeat at their ground earlier in the season.
Well, a determined and gutsy performance by the Town, in which every player played their part, saw us draw 1-1. Both teams had their chances and a draw, on reflection the day after, was probably a fair result. I changed our formation slightly, going with 3-3-1, and we will take this on going forward.
Man of the match this week goes to the whole team for the performance put in.
