Our first home league game ended with a 3-0 defeat to Herne Bay. Despite some early pressure from the team, we were unable to make our chances count, then from a breakaway, Herne Bay scored when an attacker was left one on one with our keeper and slotted calmly. On the stroke of half time, in fact with last kick of the half, our visitors doubled their lead with a shot that went in off the far post. So, a few changes were made at half time, but we couldn't create enough chances to score and eventually lost 3-0.

We managed to attract a crowd of around 60, which will hopefully promote the game moving forward.

Our next game is on Monday 14th August vs Ashford Internazionale, which will be another test for us and hopefully our first points of the season.....COYR
