Whitstable Town Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of striker Alex Wall ahead of the new season.
Wall arrives at The Belmont with a wealth of experience and an outstanding goalscoring record built across the Football League and non-league game.
A proven goalscorer throughout his career, Alex first came to prominence with Maidenhead United before earning a move to Luton Town, where he was part of the squad that secured promotion back to the Football League. He would go on to make Football League appearances for the Hatters before establishing himself as one of the most respected forwards in non-league football.
Since leaving Luton, Wall has enjoyed a successful career at National League and National League South level, representing clubs including Bromley, Concord Rangers, Havant & Waterlooville, Dartford, Hampton & Richmond Borough, Welling United, Dover Athletic, Cray Wanderers and most recently St Albans City.
Standing at 6ft 3in, Wall combines physical presence with intelligent movement and a natural eye for goal. His experience, leadership and proven goalscoring pedigree make him an exciting addition to Lee Martin's squad ahead of the new campaign.
Manager Lee Martin said:
"Alex is a fantastic signing for the football club.
"His record speaks for itself. He's played at a very good level throughout his career and knows exactly what it takes to score goals consistently.
He brings experience, leadership and a real presence both on and off the pitch. Players of his calibre don't come along very often and we're delighted to bring him to Whitstable.
We're looking forward to seeing the impact he can make for us this season."
Everyone at Whitstable Town would like to welcome Alex to The Belmont and wish him every success in an Oysters shirt.
