Whitstable Town to Host Inaugural Remembrance Cup Match

Whitstable Town Football Club is proud to announce the first ever Whitstable Town Remembrance Cup, taking place at The Belmont Stadium, on Sunday 17th May 2026.

The inaugural fixture will see:
Whitstable Town Over 60s v England Over 60s
Kick-off: 12.15pm

The Remembrance Cup has been created as a special annual event to remember and celebrate those connected to the club, our community, and the wider Whitstable Town family. It is a chance to come together, enjoy a day of football, and raise awareness and support for charities nominated in memory of loved ones.

This year’s nominated charities are:
Matthew Milne — Air Ambulance
Alanna Grant — Pilgrims Hospice
Wally Brown — The Lord Whiskey Sanctuary Fund
Henry Duley — CALM
Tim Sells — British Heart Foundation

Alongside the match, there will be plenty for families to enjoy, including a bouncy castle, ice cream van, and live entertainment, with Gary Emmanuel singing live in the clubhouse following the game.

We warmly invite supporters, families, friends, former players, volunteers, and members of the local community to join us for what promises to be a meaningful and memorable day at the club.

The Remembrance Cup is about more than football. It is about community, reflection, friendship, and celebrating the people who have helped shape the Whitstable Town story.

Further details will follow, but please save the date and join us on Sunday, 17th May 2026.
