In a powerful celebration of community, history, and football, iconic British singer-songwriter Suggs—frontman of Madness and proud Whitstable local—has joined forces with acclaimed actor and vocalist Shane Attwooll to record a stirring new anthem for Whitstable Town Football Club.

The track, "WHITSTABLE (Town FC)," is more than just a song—it’s a rallying cry for the town and its beloved club as they prepare to take the national stage for the first time. With the club heading to Wembley on Sunday, May 11th, to compete in the FA Vase Final, the anthem captures the pride and passion of fans who’ve stood by the team through 140 remarkable years.

Written by David Barratt and Bill Clift of Men with Ven, both long-time Whitstable residents, the song is a tribute to the spirit of the Belmont Ground, the club's faithful supporters, and a community united in belief and ambition.

Recorded at a local studio nestled in the heart of Whitstable, the project was brought to life under the creative direction of Andy Godden, Whitstable Town FC’s Brand & Marketing Director.

"This song is about more than football," said Godden. "It’s about identity, pride, and dreaming big. To have Suggs and Shane give voice to our story is something truly special for this club and this town."

"WHITSTABLE (Town FC)" is now available to stream on all major platforms. A vinyl release is also being discussed, with more details to be announced soon.
