SOLOMON OGUNWOMOJU JOINS THE OYSTERS

PROVEN GOALSCORER REUNITES WITH MARTIN

We are delighted to announce the signing of forward Solomon Ogunwomoju, who joins us from Ramsgate FC.

Solomon reunites with manager Lee, who previously signed the forward for Ramsgate last season during his time in charge at the club.

The striker enjoyed an impressive goalscoring record last season, scoring 10 goals in 16 appearances in the division above under Lee's management at Ramsgate. Prior to that, Solomon had also demonstrated his goalscoring ability at this level, registering 11 goals in 16 appearances for Redbridge before making the move to Ramsgate.

Having previously worked together, Lee knows exactly what Solomon can bring to the side, and the opportunity to reunite with the forward was one he was keen to pursue.

His arrival adds further quality and competition to our attacking options, and we are looking forward to seeing him continue his goalscoring form in our colours.

MANAGER'S REACTION

Speaking following the signing, Lee said:

"I'm really pleased to get Solomon on board. I know him well, having signed him for Ramsgate last season, and I've always liked what he brings as a forward.

"His goalscoring record speaks for itself. He had a really good spell at Redbridge before joining Ramsgate, and then went on to score 10 goals in 16 appearances for us at the level above.

"I know his qualities, I know what he's capable of, and I believe he'll be a really good addition to the group. It's always pleasing when you can bring in a player you've worked with before, because you understand what they can offer.

"I'm delighted we've been able to get the deal done and I'm looking forward to working with him again."

WELCOME TO THE CLUB, SOLOMON!

Everyone at the club would like to welcome Solomon Ogunwomoju and wish him every success during his time with us. We look forward to seeing him back working under Lee and making an impact in our colours.
